On Rhetoric
I'm a lucky professor.
This quarter I get to teach two great classes: Oral Advocacy and Criminal Practice. I love them both, and I'm already able to tell that I am going to enjoy those two (overlapping) groups of students.
In Oral Advocacy (which I am lucky enough to teach with Hulitt Gloer), we have a blog to discuss the reading. So far, the writing has been exceptional, so check it out.

I always imagined you were a cool guy, Dr. Osler, but the fact that you're teaching a class with Dr. Gloer seals the deal. Please give him my regards.
On a side note, I was in the congregation at Dr. Adams' sermon in Atlanta. I can confirm that he did indeed close the deal. The video hardly does justice to the power of the evening. Had there been an alter call that night, this preacher would certainly have been walking the isle.
