Inauguration Day
I called my Dad this morning, who was outside of a church a mile from the Mall in DC, watching the people from all over the country, every kind of person, flood by in a spirit of joy.
Where are you watching?
Is it all worth it?

I'm working. In my office. Our firewall prevents streaming video. So, I will see exactly as much of this inaguration as I did of any previous one. None.
We are the ones we've been waiting for.

We are in the operating room, working as usual, except for the muted live streaming video of the inauguration playing on the PC on my anesthesia machine.
Usually we just play Pong.
Don't worry, the patient isn't too unstable and I think he's still asleep.

I saw it in employment discrimination. I loved the benediction. I'm really happy Wilson allowed us to see it.
I watched it on my laptop, at home this AM very early in Oregon, with Bill, my husband and with Spencer my four year old who was crawling all over us.
What was with the messing up of the oath? I mean its like ten words or something!! I guess they were all nervous.
We were watching from our home, no brunch in Raleigh. It snowed today ~ a blanket of white in the woods. The roads a little too icy for the journey.
We toasted the oath while talking to our great friends down in Florida. There were tears streaming in both locations.
We are still watching, although I am about ready to shoot Chris Matthews and his diarrhea of the mouth.

Tyd~
It might suggest that Chief Justice Roberts is human (and a little nervous) on the occassion of administering his first Presidential Oath of Office.
You did notice that Obama DID NOT repeat after Justice Roberts when he messed up. He waited to speak the correct and legal oath of office.
