Lego my Haiku Friday!
Today, I invite everyone to write a two-line haiku (flexible on syllables) on one of the following topics:
1) The thoughts of Mr. Lego
2) The Osler-Bates Foosball Challenge
3) Gov. Rod Blagovejich
4) Christmas shopping
5) Law prom
6) Tang
7) Proverbs
8) Christmas trees
9) Prof. Osler's Christmas Molasses Cookies with Tuna Chunks
Here is mine:
The cold harsh wind of winter
Brings masters of the foos.
Now it is your turn...

Today is the LAST
DAY we can be nice. Then we
get all "Medieval."
Tried so so so so
hard to be nice. Even more
time they asked us for.
I still hold out hope
we can end it, but its not
looking good. Too bad.

Osler is my guy.
Makes me famous on his blog.
Putty in his hands.
Why o why am I
made of interlocking bricks
and not Rokenbok?
Like my pal Scarecrow.
If I only had some skin.
Would feel the warm touch.

By the way, thank you Osler for putting our picture up. I get a little teary-eyed everytime I see it. Miss you...
I apologize
I feel the need to be
Cryptic now.
This one's for you, Medivalist!
The fieldmouse scurries fast
But the owl hunts at night!

Number 7 on the list was "Proverbs" but since I couldn't tell if Osler meant the book in the Old Testament or just proverb, and an old saying that makes no sense, I mixed two, and it turned out cryptic. Very nice.
