Higher Law?

My time here at the Pepperdine conference on natural lawhas been great. There seems to be consensus on the fact that there is a higher law; the tough question is figuring out what it is.

we were taught that Powell is the higher law than man's law.

Wow, I wish I could have been there. I took every jurisprudence/legal philosophy class I could. My esteem for Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. dropped after I read enough about legal philosophy. He didn't seem to have one.
