The Graduates: Matt Acosta
I'm not sure what I love most about this picture-- Acosta working some deal on the phone at the commencement reception, or the look his dad is giving him. Either way, it is 100% Acosta.
If you have been reading this blog, you are aware of some of the things Matt has accomplished during his time here at Baylor Law. He was the hardest-working guy around, and that is saying something in this crowd. He will truly be missed, though I suspect that we will see him around now and then...

That is a really funny picture actually! I wonder what Dad is saying:
Dad: "You have 45 seconds left to finish that lemon square, and then you have to move on to the Vegetable tray."
or
Dad: "You graduated 37 minutes ago, and if you hurry you could pass the bar exam by the end of next week. Time is money, son. You think those student loans are gonna pay back themselves?"

In fact, it was a little bit of both.
Dad: "you have 45 seconds to finish that lemon square or they're going to cancel our reservations at the restaurant. Time is money son. Oh, by the way, congrats. Do you know where your Uncle Pete is? I last saw him lost on the third floor of the library?."
-Thus, the phone.
Love,
Matt

That's better than being lost on the third floor of the music school...crazy things can happen up there.
