The lines at Legoland are terrible...
Everyone seems to have headed for Legoland at the same time this Spring Break. In the picture above, you can see me waiting to use the restroom behind a firefighter, a robot, and a scuba diver. Sheesh!
Confidential to Swanburg: If I really was looking for your Mom, would Legoland have been the place to go? Curious...

Hey Osler Ever seen that Monty Python song they did in LEgos? ITs awesome What if you filmed all 89 parts of the Baylor history in Animation legos?
I KNOW Ken Burns would like this idea.

Excellent plan! I will keep that in mind next time.
Tyd--
I have! It is "Knights of the Roundtable" from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It rocks.

Oh, those lines. When I saw the headline I thought you meant lines like, "Hey babe, you sure are stacked," or "Wow, I LOVE the way you are put together!"
No, LegoLand would not be the place to look for my mother but you never know. If I were looking for a professor of law from Waco, Texas, I probably wouldn't start my search at LegoLand either, but I'd be wrong . . . terribly, terribly wrong.
Now THIS is an idea for a contest!
Where would one look for a Professor of Law from Waco?
-You could have an "whilst in Waco" section; a "while in Texas" version and an outside Texas cagtegory.
Of course, it could be the same answer for each section, i.e., a law library, a low rent vagrants motel, a juke joint, a liquor store or more likely, an ice cream stand or a music store.

Tyd,
You went to John Lee Hooker's funeral yet you don't recognize the term "juke joint"?!!
I'm sure he played in several hundred over his long and storied career. And most likely some of your husband's instruments have been played at a few juke joints here and there.

Bill just explained what it was... AS my husband informs me, lots of Chapin Guitars HAVE been played in Juke Joints - many times BY HIM!!!
I think I have been to a couple of them.
See I had to go to Bill's gigs when he had this Blues Band that he named after our dog, and all of his customers would come - these guys who would like LIVE at our shop, many who had like 43 guitars and no girlfriend....
I never understood THE BLUES. My idea was that this music is SOOOOO depressing.. I told them all the time..If they would play some more HAPPY songs, Maybe some GIRLS would come to the gigs and they could get DATES!!! Like some songs maybe girls might like to dance to you know? Happy songs.. But if they keep playing these bad sad songs about having no money and my woman left me and I have only bacon to eat and my dog is dead and I have no car and no nice clothes... COME ON!!!!!! WHAT girl is going to want to go and hear this music??????
They never saw my point.
