Haiku Friday: Car Problems

I luv my SUV, but it is getting a little elderly. I'm the only owner, and now it has over 120,000 miles on the odometer.

As happens with cars and people, age is bringing on a few dysfunctions. For example, it used to make this energetic "whoop whoop" when I locked it with the remote, but now it just languidly flashes the lights, dimly. Still, not bad compared to some of the vehicles I have owned!

So let's haiku this week about the failings of current and past cars. Here, I will go first:

VW Microbus
With holes in the floor; Bad deal
For my passenger!

Now it is your turn!  Just use the 5/7/5 syllable formula, and have some fun!

Comments:
My second Escort
So ruby red in color
But a real lemon

When the lawn guy hit
our old Ford F-150
it was a favor

My orange Vega
Made a tick-tick-ticking sound
Scared it would blow up!

My Audi A4
flat tires, malfunctioning switches
Cute, but frustating

One twenty K-miles?
It's really still a baby.
Run it 'til it dies.

Sixty-nine VW
College car: two transmissions,
three-engined monster.

Pock marked, car lot loser
She knew how to take a hit.
Sporty Saturn Coupe

Where do I begin?
Miles taken without a glitch
I loved that Honda.

Orange Super Beetle
packed with five teen girls, making
The Drag, seeking boys.

Our old gal Bessie!
Stickers inside and outside
Hold her together

The old gray wagon
I only saw the back seat
On Saturday nights.

Engine light is on,
Fresh oil on the garage floor,
The car smells of smoke.

Hey, Medievalist!
Give me my car back, you thief!
I recognize it.

Still love my Mini
though cat converter bad at
75 K.

Should be a lesson
in accepting evidence!
But it revs so great

and it's cute as hell

and the handling's sweet . . .
