Haiku Friday: Clothes you can't do without

What is your favorite thing to wear? That's a good haiku topic-- let's do that! Here is mine:

Name tag says "Donny."
I sewed it on there. My
Friends were not fooled.

Now it is your turn! Just make if 5 syllables/7/5, and the winner gets a bio here on Monday!

  1. White t-shirt and jeans,
    Boulevard of broken dreams,
    I can be James Dean.

shirts are loose, not tight. Just right,
    with flip flops and shorts.

    My mother, and friend.
Went out for clothes, but left. "Old
    dames need no new clothes."

    De minimus, yes.
Just enough to dodge a charge
    of indecency.

  8. A column of peach
    Blossoms Monet embroidered
    Waterfalls to her feet.

    She went to see him
    Yet again in his tuxedo
    And he kissed her lips.

    Once a year she dove
Into his eyes and knew there
    Was no hope.Craving.

  10. Medievalist hits a home run. Nothing more alluring than the combination he mentions. "The Boulevard of Broken Dreams" a song I love. And James Dean--Well!! Love Oso's poem. And Seraphim's. You people-poets are golden today!

  14. She didn't know she
    Had Asberger's. She talked to
    All... in black catsuit.

    Her words flew--bullets
    From an uzi. Numbers kept
    In head,big hats on.

    Her hats frightened dogs,
    And small children.But kept skin
    Smooth,white.Tights kept pain in.

    They thought her crazy.
But she on patrol, kept them safe.
    She thought black/white facts.

    Fascinated me.
    Smart child with no boundaries.
    Collecting free shells and stones.

    So,if you asked me
I'd say her huge hats like blooms
    Were her favorites.

  19. OK, I'm late to this party but I was on vacation until yesterday, and I simply cannot let this opportunity pass....I must enter:

    Clothes may make a man
    but Stuart Weitzman pumps, Kate
    Spade bag bring me joy.

    Am I a shallow
    Material Girl, a slave
    to designer brands?

    Maybe. I do not
care. THOSE pumps and THAT bag are
    pretty. That is all.

    The just-right shoes and
bag are the dot in my own
    exclamation point.
