iPhone Meltdown!
Ack! Yesterday, my 4-month-old iPhone 4 has developed a strange problem. It gets very hot, and the battery drains four times faster than usual. Any idea what might be causing this?
This symptom can also occur when you're using the default Mail app to look at other mail systems (e.g., gmail). Go to your Settings, find Mail, and delete the other mail systems. Then shut and restart your phone. Use it for a while; you should see the battery life problem solved. You can re-add the mail again as this isn't a consistent issue.
Another cause of the symptom is location on (the internal GPS); you can also shut that in settings but it is less likely the issue unless you spend too much time playing with your Compass app.
Have you noticed any correlation between this problem and your proximity to the Neil Alan Willard House of Jesus?
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like it might be time for a trip to the Genius Bar.
Overuse since your return from Osler Island?
ReplyDeleteChristine.... maybe!
