This is one of my favorite songs. It has everything I look for in music:

1) Fake boarding announcements
2) Joltingly out-of-date airport procedures
3) Mystery

Professor,you were 4,according to my calculations,when this appalling song came out. However did it become a favorite song? Perhaps I just had a bad day in VBS with the little urchins,but I didn't make it through the video all the way,before it began to grate on my last nerve. Wherefore such affection for the ditty?

Renee's right. This blows. Even Peter Paul & Mary's "Leaving on a Jet Plane" is better.

The Boxtops "The Letter" is sort of an airplane song -- but the singer prefers a "fast train."
