Idaho, South Dakota, Maryland, Vermont
Perhaps like some of you, I have become obsessed with the electoral college map. What I can't figure out is why they have no data for Idaho, South Dakota, Maryland and Vermont. These four states have nothing in common. If it was just Idaho, South Dakota, and Vermont, I could see it-- those are states where (I think) internet and telephone service is not yet available. But Maryland? What gives?

Why bother polling Maryland? The entire state works for the federal government. Who do you think they are voting for?
I have to defend Maryland! Many residents are simply unemployed vagrants who hang around Baltimore waiting for Barry Levinson, John Waters and Roger Simon (or whatever the name of the guy who did "The Wire" is named) to film another TV show or movie so they can appear as weirdo character actors. Another significant group lives on subsidies to NOT farm tobacco and NOT to catch crabs or oysters. There's also a large percentage busy bribing elected officials.
