Having worked as a sous chef for Thurston Howell III and his wonderful wife, Lovey, I can say they had a wonderful relationship with their money, which they kept around in piles. They certainly enjoyed their money--except for that one time when they went to Hawaii and didn't come back for a long time. Otherwise, they were very happy.
Perhaps someone can explain how Thurston Howell III's estimated net worth is in the billions when he is explicitly called "the millionaire" in the "Gilligan's Island" theme song.
Was the island actually the site of lax banking regulations and the lesser-known alternative to the Caymans and that is why Thurston and Mrs. Howell took that 3-hour trip?

The "Wizard of Wall Street" started as a Millionaire, but his funds kept expanding into the billions.
Scrooge seems kind of bitter about his money, as does Monty Burns. I'd say that Daddy Warbucks never appeared to have a bad day. And Bruce Wayne certainly put his money to good work.
